Summary Description
The Recruiter HR Generalist plays a crucial role in supporting the human resources function within our organization. This multifaceted position combines recruitment responsibilities with generalist HR duties, requiring a versatile skill set and a deep understanding of the HR landscape. As a Recruiter HR Generalist, you will be an integral part of the HR team, contributing to the overall success of the organization by attracting top talent and supporting HR initiatives. You will be responsible for attracting, screening, and selecting qualified candidates while also providing support in various HR areas, ensuring the smooth functioning of the company’s HR processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Essential duties are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature. Other duties may be assigned.
- Recruitment: Collaborate with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and identify the hiring needs across different departments. Utilize various recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates. Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and manage the candidate selection process. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
- Talent Acquisition: Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, job boards, and universities to expand the talent pool and stay updated on industry trends. Implement effective sourcing strategies, including social media, networking, and employee referrals, to identify potential candidates for current and future positions.
- HR Support: Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures, and programs. Address employee inquiries related to benefits, compensation, leaves of absence, and other HR-related matters. Assist in the administration of HR Programs, such as performance management, employee engagement, and training initiatives.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and internal policies. Stay updated on HR legal requirements and make recommendations to ensure adherence. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to maintain a fair and inclusive work environment.
- HR Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. Process HR-related documents, including employment contracts, offer letters, and performance evaluations. Support the HR team in creating and maintaining HR reports and metrics.
- HR Projects: Participate in HR projects, such as employee engagement surveys, policy development, and diversity and inclusion initiatives. Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems to enhance the overall employee experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum three (2) years’ experience full cycle recruiting; high volume or agency staffing recruiting experience required (prefer experience recruiting for a manufacturing environment), or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the above knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Proven experience as a Recruiter or HR Generalist, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment processes and best practices.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with HR policies and procedures, and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and applicant tracking software.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and attention to detail.
