Traffic Maintenance Programs Manager - Transportation Engineer Supervisor

The Texas Department of Transportation Houston District is seeking a highly qualified Professional Engineer to serve as the Traffic Maintenance Programs Manager within the Transportation Operations Section. Reporting directly to the Director of Transportation Operations, this leadership position plays a key role in supporting the safe and efficient movement of people and goods across one of the nation's most dynamic transportation networks.  This position provides an excellent opportunity for an engineer interested in developing supervisory experience while leading important transportation programs and a team of dedicated transportation professionals. 

The Traffic Maintenance Programs Manager provides leadership and oversight for a variety of transportation operations and right of way programs that support the Houston District's six county region. The position works closely with local governments, railroads, utility companies, developers, and internal stakeholders to solve problems, build partnerships, and support the district's transportation mission.
