Position: Senior Product Manager

Job Location: 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066

Duties: Scale Walmart's best-in-class demand side platform with advanced campaign management, targeting, measurement, and optimization capabilities to empower the world’s largest brands plan. Execute highly effective ad-campaigns. Utilize domain knowledge in Digital Advertising and Demand-Side-Platforms to drive product lifecycle from requirement definition, research, metrics analysis, technical specifications, development, testing, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), A/B testing, and other launch efforts. Conduct tradeoffs with engineering and technical teams to define prioritization and develop best-in-class ad products and platform enhancements. Manage product roadmaps, align business and technical needs, analyze customer and product data, turn customer insights into actionable initiatives, determine rollout strategy, and manage risks. Build integrations with strategic partners to further expand customer touch points and bring Walmart targeting and measurement to platforms customers love. Coordinate large, complex cross functional projects on-time, anticipate and work through bottlenecks, make tradeoffs and balance business and technical constraints, and manage escalations for large-scale, highly complex Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Consumer (B2C) products. Design A/B experiments with data science and engineering partners to accurately test and launch products and feature enhancements. Author product specifications, inclusive of use cases, data flow diagrams, screen mockups, identification of data sources, analytics, reporting, and integration requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional partners such as Engineering, Strategy, Marketing, and Sales to test, learn and improve AdTech products using agile methodologies. Conduct customer research to define customer segments and identify needs to inform the product roadmap. Conduct industry and competitive analysis to understand the emerging trends in advertising industry to identify new opportunities. Work with data science, engineering, and Walmart partners to determine the data requirements, measurement methodologies, APIs, and UX for reporting dashboards. Define vision and strategies for Walmart Connect's product family using domain expertise, internal and external best practices. Develop and enhance products. Build collaborative relationships with key partners by driving priorities aligned to business goals. Communicate and prioritize product roadmaps and gain buy-in from executive leadership. Partner with internal advertising sales teams and Walmart retail teams to create unique, compelling experiences that benefit shoppers and advertising clients through expertise in working with ad servers SSPs, ad exchanges, DSPs, verifications, and data tools. This position does not supervise employees.

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related field and 3 years of experience in product management; OR Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related field and 5 years of experience in product management.

Skills required: Experience executing data analysis and creating data visualizations using Tableau. Experience with JIRA. Experience with Customer Relationship Management system architecture and automation. Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum software development. Experience with product roadmap planning and execution. Experience defining how to engage with publishers through real-time bidding in the programmatic advertising ecosystem. Experience collecting customer pain points and prioritizing with engineering teams to maximize customer satisfaction in the retail ecosystem. Experience with A/B testing. Experience implementing closed loop measurements and attribution. Experience developing ad products using DSP. Experience executing market research and competitive analysis.
