Route Set-Up Teammate

GENERAL SUMMARY OF PURPOSE:

Under direct supervision of the Plant Manager and District Manager, this position performs the set-up of routes one day ahead of the scheduled day.  Support the mission of the Company which is: On-time delivery of a quality product at a reasonable cost.  Focus efforts on safety, efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.  Follow all company policies, procedures, safety and security.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Select and pack required product from shelve, prepared buckets to ensure all routes are set up in accordance with specifications outlined in the Production Operator Instruction Sheet (POIS).
• Follow all operator instructions for the position as set forth in the POIS.
• Perform work in a safe manner and in accordance with Company’s safety practices and procedures.
• Keep the work area neat and well organized. This will include cleaning bathrooms, taking out trash, and other cleaning duties as assigned.
• Other related duties as assigned by management, to ensure cross training is accomplished within the department to maximize the efficient processing of all linen products.
