About Us: Since 1991, Lifeskills South Florida has offered customized treatment programs for all genders, ages 18 and over, suffering from mental health conditions and substance use disorders. We provide clinically excellent, evidence-based, and collaborative treatment programs that are tailored based on each client’s unique needs to address a variety of mental health disorders as well as substance use disorders. Through our residential treatment program (RTC), partial hospitalization program (PHP), intensive outpatient program (IOP), and transitional living we ensure our clients can successfully transition back into their home life, family life, and careers with newfound self-esteem, direction, and control.

Our residential treatment program provides hope for clients suffering from mental health and substance use disorders, helping them ensure sustained recovery. Located in beautiful Deerfield Beach, Lifeskills provides a secure and nurturing atmosphere for balanced recovery and healing. Residential treatment program clients live in fully furnished townhomes that are professionally staffed 24-hours a day. This realistic, home-like setting allows residents to adapt to their new coping skills within the local community and practice their daily routines while taking part in the therapeutic process. In our residential treatment program, we help our clients successfully transition back into their homes, family lives, and careers with newfound self-esteem, direction, and control.

How You Will Make a Difference

The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for coordinating and supervising the facility’s nursing staff.  This position is responsible for ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.  The Director of Nursing provides direct client care, takes physician orders, prepares, and administers resident medications, and coordinates outside diagnostic or medical services as ordered by the physician.  This position will serve as the Infection Control Designee.
