This exciting opportunity within the Human Resources (HR) function, enables Nutrien’s people strategy and culture by advancing the organization’s Talent development strategy. This role is responsible for the design and enhancement of people programs and activities within Nutrien’s larger Talent and Organizational Development (OD) team, while supporting the implementation and execution of people programs to support the business. 

 

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Talent Development & Performance, this role supports Nutrien’s HR community in identifying opportunities and driving solutions to successfully implement organizational development strategies within Nutrien’s business units and functions. This position helps advance talent programs and priorities while also supporting people program projects. The ideal candidate has a passion for driving Nutrien’s Purpose of Feeding the Future through cultural transformation and organizational development.

 

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with the Organizational Development Business Partners and HR Business Partners to ensure the successful development and execution of Nutrien’s talent strategy and people programs and activities.
  • Advance succession planning and development programs across the organization through understanding our talent landscape and identifying and creating process enhancements to enable HR and leaders to focus their efforts on aligning development priorities and mitigating talent risk.
  • Become a proficient SuccessFactors/myHR superuser for talent modules. Work closely with IDS HR to ensure continual improvement and innovation through ongoing maintenance, updates, enhancements, and execution of successful talent module implementations. Also partner closely with program owners in other geographies.
  • Provide oversight, guidance, communication, training, and reporting support for HR Business Partners to facilitate succession planning, development, talent assessment, talent review, and performance management processes.
  • Continual improvement of resources such as updating employee, leader and HR guides.
  • Support the business and HR in the development of metrics and data insights to support organizational development. Identify trends and proactively recommend solutions to improve succession planning, performance management, employee development and retention.
  • Other talent development projects and duties as required.
