Your Job
What this role looks like.
- Designing and implementing comprehensive budgets and financial plans for IT areas and projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Conducting detailed variance analyses (plan vs actual) to identify financial discrepancies and areas for improvement
- Utilising reporting and the related insights to develop robust financial recommendations and strategies
- Participating in the development and refinement of financial controlling structures, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in our financial operations
- Working closely with international IT management as well as IT Controlling teams to ensure cohesive financial oversight and integration across departments
- Responding promptly to ad-hoc queries from management, providing rapid and accurate financial information to aid decision-making processes
Your Profile
What you bring with you.
- A degree in business administration or a related field, with a strong focus on financial management
- Proven experience in financial or project controlling, sophisticated reporting and conducting high-level analyses
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking abilities to navigate complex financial landscapes
- Excellent command of Microsoft 365, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluency in English
Desirable extras.
- Experience within an IT environment
- Solid track record of managing business cases
- Good command of German
