JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Viega LLC is looking for a People Business Partner to be a member of the People Leadership Team and directly report to the CPO. This leader will set and drive a talent & cultural strategy with the Manufacturing, Technology and Supply chain functions of our business. This individual will serve as the lead business partner for these functions and will manage a team of other business partners and generalists. A passion for establishing strong partnerships, solving business challenges, building an inclusive culture, and contributing to an impactful people strategy is essential. This individual will have a passion for supporting employees from the front-line to the C-suite. This role is responsible for driving a people strategy to support a fast-growing part of our business through workforce planning, effective organizational design, employee relations, performance & talent management and coaching leaders and employees. This leader is critical in providing consistent guidance that fosters a productive and supportive culture aligned to our Purpose and Values.
JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted business partner, advisor and coach to senior leaders.
- Work with cross-functional teams and leaders to solve complex problems from critical organizational and people issues to culture and change management.
- Partner and collaborate effectively with all functions on the people team: talent acquisition, talent management, learning, leadership development, internal communications, HR operations, total rewards - to create a cohesive employee experience.
- Partner with leaders on building organizations for the future, including development of key leadership talent.
- Further develop the business partner team, ensuring that the high standards within the team are developed and maintained.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Provide guidance, coaching and input on organizational restructuring, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Be an advocate and role model for the Viega LLC company culture and values – Achieve Goals, Be Empowered, Show Respect, Assume Responsibility, Build Trust.
- Partner with Finance to ensure headcount and forecasting are accurate and properly aligned.
- Design and implement effective change management and communications on People team initiatives to increase adoption.
- Be proactive and take initiative: Get ahead of problems by anticipating them. Use data to tell the story and make decisions.
- Ability to work both tactically and strategically to meet business needs.
- Ability to remain flexible and agile in an ever-changing environment along with a willingness to always be learning.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to handle highly confidential information
- Highly knowledgeable in managing employee relations and investigations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to relate to people at all levels
- Focused on using data to achieve results and exceeding goals and objectives
- Strong and proven leader of a team; experiencing developing talent
- Strong presentation & facilitation skills with the capability of delivering presentations to any size group
- Capable of embracing change and new ideas
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Ability to travel up to 50%
Education, Certification/License & Work Experience
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- 15+ years of HR Business Partner experience in roles of increasing complexity and scope, partnering directly with senior leaders
- Expertise in organizational design and effectiveness, building high performing teams, executive coaching, navigating complex employee relations, and scaling an org with high growth
- Experience launching a new manufacturing facility is a plus
- Strong leadership, influencing, and collaboration skills
- HR Certification is a plus
Location
The role is located in our Broomfield, Colorado office and is hybrid with onsite 2-3 days a week.
For this role based in Colorado, the base compensation range is $138,000 to $196,000
