Overview

We are seeking a highly proactive and versatile Product Owner to steer our product development lifecycle, ensuring seamless execution from testing to deployment. This role requires a dynamic individual who can effectively manage priorities, coordinate and identify dependencies across multiple teams and stakeholder groups, and maintain high standards of product quality and documentation and drives for innovation. This Product Support Specialist supports and creates the operational processes and systems needed to accommodate comprehensive product offerings and a new digital platform. 

What will you do?

  • Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion’s ministry in prayer.

  • Acts as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Understands Christ’s mandate to protect children. Commits to and prioritizes child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry. Abides by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Reports any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately supports responses to incidents if they occur.

  • Uphold and engage in Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors.

  • Champions and implements product support and serves the needs of Global Marketing and Global Partner Offices within their sub-specialty, providing training tools in alignment with the ministry's objectives. Serves as a key contributor among cross-functional teams to provide holistic product support.

  • Strategically designs product support and strategies of moderate complexity and develops Compassion's product support models to be implemented globally, including standards, activities, tools, resources and indicators. Collaborates and partners with Global Marketing staff and global stakeholders and provides expertise within area of specialty.

  • Implements the use of product support measurements and provides ongoing subject matter expertise in using high quality data to measure program inputs, outputs, outcomes on a global scale. Aids Global Marketing and Global Partner staff by providing coaching and knowledge for measurement usage and interpretation.

  • Independently conducts special training and initiatives and consults with others regarding industry standards, national policies and best practices.

  • Identifies and analyzes moderately complex global product support process problems and defines the scope of activities required to address the issues, including requirement definition, process review, impact assessment and operational streamlining where appropriate to increase productivity and efficiency. Prepare supporting documentation such as presentations, future state maps, success metrics, business requirements and related impact analysis. Participates in the creation of new processes.

  • Defines relevant metrics and develops reports utilized to track overall product support and implementation success. Analyzes data to identify improvement opportunities.

  • Provides expertise and coaching to other product support and partnership staff in Global Marketing and Global Partner Offices as requested.

What do you bring?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent education, experience, training, and/or certification

  • Seven years Relevant experience working in this or a related field.

  • Proven experience in an agile environment with product testing.

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering training and providing deployment support.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.

  • Ability to travel internationally 7+ times a year for 7-10 days at a time.
