Role Overview

An Opportunity has arisen to join the Client Services Team in Keyridge, reporting to the Client Services Manager. 

 

The Client Services Team is responsible for processing pension client monies, responding to client enquiries, and providing reporting to clients, consultants, and auditors. The team also manages the appropriations function, ensuring all client monies received through a variety of channels are accurately processed and instructed to the Fund Management Team in a timely manner.

 

As a Client Services Specialist, you will support the delivery of a high-quality service to clients, consultants, and auditors through the timely and accurate processing of client transactions, handling of enquiries, and preparation of reporting. Working closely with colleagues across Client Services, Fund Management, and other teams, you will help ensure client monies are processed efficiently and invested within agreed timescales. This is a varied role offering exposure to a range of operational and client service activities, requiring strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, and a proactive, risk-aware approach to ensure positive outcomes for clients and the business.

What you will help us to achieve

The key responsibilities will include:

•    Process pension client monies and unit appropriations accurately and within agreed service levels, ensuring all trading and operational deadlines are met.
•    Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, administrators, consultants, and internal stakeholders, delivering a high-quality client experience.
•    Produce and distribute client allocation statements, audit letters and other service-related communications within required timeframes.
•    Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Fund Management, Treasury and other business areas to to support effective end-to-end operational delivery.
•    Complete all required reporting, ensuring robust controls, data accuracy and prompt resolution of issues.
•    Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and risk controls, ensuring documentation remains accurate, up to date, and fit for purpose.
•    Support continuous improvement opportunities, enhancing processes, controls, client outcomes and operational efficiency.
•    Contribute to the development and maintenance of Management Information (MI), using data and reporting to monitor service performance, capacity and operational risk.
•    Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives that support departmental and organisational objectives.

What you will need to be successful in the role

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and knowledge:

  • Strong numerical, analytical and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with an understanding of the importance of risk awareness and operational controls
  • A keen interest in Asset Management, Investment Operations, Pensions or Financial Services ; relevant experience or industry knowledge would be advantageous
