Context and Role summary

The “Digital Platforms” domain is part of the Corporate & Institutional Banking Information Technology & Operations (CIB ITO) of BNP Paribas, it is in charge to manage a key part of the infrastructure such the core of the servers, databases, storage, backup, middleware, citrix farms, automatization and vmware infrastructure.
Within this domain, Middleware WEB administration has a relevant role, as they have to manage the whole WEB infrastructure covering the different technologies that are part of CIB baseline for presentation and application layers

Position - Key Accountabilities

This position is focus in the management of WEB infrastructure for all European countries where BNPP is present and in the near future to offer a global support to all regions (Follow The Sun support).

This infrastructure offer service on high availability environments to ensure applications availability.

Due to large number of assets to manage, to be able to build and manage scripts to automatize the operative is is a key point.

Vulnerability and obsolescence remediation, proactive improvements and action plan for incidents are part of the day to day of this position.

To work following ITIL methodology is part of the daily basis in this and the rest of IT areas.


Others

• On Site Services: From 7:00 to 19:30 schedule to cover in weekly shifts of 8 working hours/day.
• On Call Services: Out of regular schedule, we provide On Call services 24/7 to be covered in weekly shifts by team members.
• BNPP is an international company, most of Spanish non-working days out of weekends are considered as business days, so they require Onsite support -but to be covered with a reduce number of staff-. These days and the OnCall support have specific compensation, in the same way that if it is required to work in a scheduled activity on weekend.

Qualifications & Languages
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor in Computer Science preferable but not mandatory.
• ITIL Foundation certificate will be desirable.

LANGUAGES
• High English spoken and written fluent (B2/C). Mandatory
• French spoken and written will be valued.
