Intern - Business Systems Analyst (SUMMER)

As a Business Systems Analyst Intern, you will collaborate with internal and inter-company business teams regarding business solutions and opportunities in the data governance lifecycle. You will analyze business information, translate requirements into functional specifications, and champion business needs while balancing priorities, technical platform capabilities, and compliance requirements of Acxiom’s business geographies.

Internship details:

• This internship opportunity will begin May 20th, 2024
• Our intention is to have interns work on-site in Conway, Arkansas if possible.
• 20-29/week during the semester work dedication, 40 hours/week during summer and breaks
• Anticipated graduation date between May 2025 - December 2025
• Applicants for this internship position with Acxiom in the U.S. must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Acxiom (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (CPT/OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status)

What you will do:

• Collaborate and communicate internally and inter-company with teams, and partners as appropriate
• Organize and synthesize simple to medium complex information provided by partners, formulating information into business, functional, and non-functional requirements, documented in a correct, clear, concise, comprehensive, and cohesive format
• Document, and implement test cases for assessments, based on requirements
• Provide business support, answer questions, and develop a knowledge base for supported platforms
• General knowledge of Information Technology practices

What you will need:

• Pursuing a degree in Business Data Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Strong analytical skills and ability to extrapolate information from business partners
• Savvy working in a technical environment to tackle business related problems
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with other Microsoft Office programs
