Responsibilities & Qualifications

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the stable operation and optimization of in-house computer systems, software, and network connectivity.
• Plan, develop, install, configure, maintain, and support network software and communication links.
• Organize and manage the configuration and operation of information management systems.
• Analyze and resolve end-user software and connectivity issues across local and remote environments.
• Conduct capacity and performance analyses; provide recommendations for system configuration changes and upgrades.
• Increase efficiency through automation tools and scripts; develop procedures and conduct training and skills assessments for system administrators.
• Provide end-user training and guidance on new or modified systems.
• Offer strategic recommendations on technology direction aligned with business goals.
• Deliver maintenance support—including patching, upgrades, and new server/application installs—for systems deployed across multiple sites.
• Lead and mentor other system administrators, ensuring optimal system performance and user support.
• Apply expertise in application networking, including load balancing, fault tolerance, and performance tuning.
• Perform vulnerability management and ensure systems meet compliance and security requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience

   

  • At least ten (10) years of specialized experience in Information Processing, including:
    • Broad exposure to hardware/software solutions.
    • Minimum of four (4) years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting software and systems.

  Education

   

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline.

   

  Clearance

   

  • Top Secret - IT-I Critical Sensitive clearance or Tier 5 (T5) investigation.
