What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify potential concerns and support site operations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions, and report unauthorized persons, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders.
• Support facility rules and traffic flow by observing pedestrian and vehicle activity, helping to deter disruptions, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors regarding site expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
