Corporate Events Planner

The Corporate Events Planner plays a key role in designing, managing, and executing a wide range of internal corporate events, with a strong focus on AEG's annual Corporate Summit which hosts approximately 300 attendees (and grows every year!). This role works cross-functionally with executive leadership, operations, communications, and external vendors to ensure every detail of the event lifecycle is managed with excellence. From strategy and logistics to on-site execution and post-event reporting, this role brings AEG's values and culture to life through impactful, memorable events.
- Annual Corporate Summit (Primary Event)
- Own and manage end-to-end planning and execution of AEG's annual Corporate Summit, including venue sourcing, agenda planning, registration, vendor partnerships, logistics, travel coordination, and on-site event leadership
- Partner with internal stakeholders to align event programming with company goals and culture
- Manage event communications, materials, and production timelines
- Other Events & Meetings:
- Plan and execute smaller in-person and virtual events throughout the year, including leadership meetings, department offsites, team celebrations, trainings, and executive gatherings
- Ensure consistency in event brand, attendee experience, and communication standards across all events
- Serve as a central resource and subject matter expert on all corporate event logistics
- Vendor & Budget Management:
- Manage event vendors, contracts, timelines, and deliverables*Negotiate with vendors for best pricing and terms
- Maintain and track event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising event quality
- Provide post-event reports, attendee feedback summaries, and recommendations for improvement
- Cross-Functional & Cultural Collaboration:
- Partner with Communications and People Operations teams to design events that reinforce AEG's culture and business priorities
- Contribute to a fun, inclusive, and professional office environment through thoughtfully planned experiences
- 3-5 years of professional experience in corporate event planning, hospitality, or operations
- Proven experience planning and managing large-scale events (250+ attendees) with multiple stakeholders
- Extensive experience in event contract negotiations, including venues, hotels, and vendors
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, Business, or related field preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills*High emotional intelligence, professionalism, and customer service mindset
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management tools/platforms
