Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Sr. Software Engineer in Test in San Mateo, CA to work in an Agile Scrum environment to support quality engineering activities in the payments, tax, and fraud space. Requires a Master's degree in Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience ensuring that development code adheres to object oriented principles and methodologies. Prior experience must include two (2) years of fixing bugs and defects that are part of the product development life cycle; monitoring dashboards and logs to identify discrepancies and unexpected code and software behavior; communicating with different teams to improve software development and release processes; refactoring code and improving code quality coverage; and utilizing Java, J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, JSF, relational database management systems, XML programming, object oriented design, QA strategies, techniques and methodologies and test driven development processes, source control, bug tracking systems, Web Services and Web Services frameworks, Java, Spring, REST, Junit, Maven, Agile, Scrum, Tomcat, Jenkins, Eclipse, and Rally. At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
