The Raytheon Connected Factory Intelligence team is seeking an experienced Product Owner. The Product Owner will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of software products that align with the organization's strategic goals. The candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between the product's vision and its execution by creating a detailed backlog of user stories, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define features, and ensure successful product delivery. This role will be a critical technical liaison between the 3 manufacturing sectors. The ideal candidate should possess experience in seamlessly integrating solutions across various sites.

This position is an ONSITE role at either our Andover, MA; Forest, MS; McKinney, TX; Tucson, AZ sites

What You Will Do

  • Develop a concept of operations on how the product should function and define specific product features​
  • Product backlog management: create Product definition​s, features and capabilities based on customer requirements, define the product backlog and create actionable user stories for the development teams​
  • Design products with a focus on cost-effectiveness and rapid time-to-market across different sectors
  • Product delivery: Participate in spring plannings, reviews and retrospectives and act as the voice of the customer within the development team
  • Develop product launch plans and marketing strategies
  • Monitor product adoption and usage metrics
  • Gather customer feedback and usage metrics and monitor product’s performance KPIs
  • Responsible for Product’s documentation
  • Expected to Travel 25% of the time.

What You Will Learn

  • Advanced skills in prioritizing tasks and features based on business value and strategic objectives
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, executives, and development teams
  • Ability to analyze product data to identify trends, measure performance, and make data-driven decisions.

Qualifications You Must Have  

  • Typically requires a bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred)
  • 10+ years relevant professional experience, with at least 4 years of experience with Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory technologies or minimum 8 years with an advance degree.
  • Experience bridging the gap between a product's vision and its successful delivery across multiple businesses while working with cross-functional teams.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Must be willing and able to travel domestically up to 25% of the time

Qualifications We Prefer

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies with experience in developing features, stories and backlog management (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Experience with Product management tools (DevOps, MS Project, etc.)
  • Experience with software development lifecycle and software development methodologies
  • Knowledge of user experience *UX) and user interface (UI) design principles
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Certification in Agile methodologies (Certified Scrum Product Owner)
  • Experience with transition to production of software products
  • Continuous improvement/growth, quality and analytical mindset
