Senior Financial Analyst, Inventory & Quality Finance

Key job responsibilities
- Expertise collecting, analyzing and managing quantitative data and creating meaningful reports to lead business improvement and cost reductions
- Root cause analysis and uncovering core issues using data, then assisting the FC improve and create new measures for site productivity
- Advanced reporting and analysis using Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups)
- Recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability
- Manage the development of all weekly and monthly financial close, all planning, forecasting, and reporting models and their continuous innovation and communicating to your Operations partners
- Work with data source providers and technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated and timely
- Influence business decision making through the development of insightful end-to-end total cost reporting
- Partner with network Finance and Operations partners to determine specific cost strategy and goals
- Develop and support cross-functional partnerships
- Identify and implement solutions to resolve, improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance processes
- Create program, processes, and training documentations for Quality and Cost Controllership for Amazon Operations and Finance partners

Basic Qualifications

- BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science)
- 3+ years of finance experience or a related analytical field

Preferred Qualifications

- 4+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
- Experience in developing and formulating business metrics for reporting, using data visualization tools Tableau, QuickSight, Power BI
