Captive Senior Account Administrator  

This team member will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day administration of a large group captive insurance company, who will be working alongside RISC team members to maintain the client relationship and their various service providers including independent auditors, independent actuaries, attorney’s, TPA’s, carriers/reinsurers, and reinsurance brokers, to ensure client companies remain in compliance with regulatory and accounting requirements.

About the Role  

 As a Captive Senior Account Administrator some of your key responsibilities will involve;

1. Managing the day-to-day administration of a large group captive insurance company and be a contact for individuals from within various departments at the client (risk management, corporate accounting, tax, legal, etc.)
2. Ensuring the quality and timeliness of financial reports and regulatory filings on a consistent basis, in coordination with other NFP colleagues
3. Reconciliation of contract insurance treaties
4. Reconciliation of (150+) captive and cell cash accounts
5. Support the coordination efforts with outside service providers to meet client needs (audit, investment manager, actuary, claims manager, legal, etc.)
6. Assisting in preparing and presenting materials during client board meetings, ensuring both optimum quality and “value add” of the information included
7. Primary RISC KYC coordinator
8. Ensure compliance with the RISC governance framework

 

 About You

 As a Captive Senior Account Administrator your skills and qualifications will ideally include; 

1. Proven ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently in an office with other professionals in order to meet deadlines and satisfy the needs of the client and service team managers
2. 4 yr administrative and bookkeeping/or 2+ years captive experience required
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
4. Organized and able to multi-task with ability to effectively re-prioritize tasks as needed and manage several projects simultaneously
5. Demonstrated responsiveness to internal and external clients
6. Effective communicator, both verbally and written
7. Demonstrated ability to identify areas requiring increased productivity and improve methods and approaches with managers guidance
8. Contribute to a collaborative, innovative and forward-thinking office
