In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: * Experience with advanced concepts, principles and practices of engineering to serve as an expert in the details of overhaul, modification, testing and operations of complex systems on a variety of weight handling * Experience with functions and capabilities of the Shipyard. * Experience in assessing, anticipating and responding to the complete spectrum of technical demands involved in the implementation and conduct of weight handling systems and components. * Extensive experience in the technical direction of weight handling equipment design, testing, overhaul and/or repair. * Experience rendering major decisions regarding organization and distribution of work.
