Department Overview

The EEC SI (Elgin Experience Center for Solutions Integration) is host to
hundreds of Customers each year. The EEC SI is where customer
needs and technological solutions come together thru the Systems
Staging process. The EEC SI Engineering Team works with field teams
to develop the fine design details of a Radio Communications System
and to support the fundamental objective of Total Customer
Satisfaction.

Job Description

Develops, designs, evaluates, and/or modifies systems consistent with customer and regulatory requirements. Develops system architecture, and ensures the integrity of the architecture/design.
 

In this role you will:

• Be an active member of a team of developmental engineers, systems engineers, system technicians, and field personnel to understand, design, and test complex communications and information systems to meet customer requirements and schedule deadlines.

• Become familiar with the CCSi workflow processes and procedures to program and integrate equipment for a fully functional system.

• Be the driving-force behind the implementation, optimization, troubleshooting, testing, and auditing of systems throughout the staging process.

• Provide detailed system design drawings/documentation, as well as hands-on support for systems testing and troubleshooting

• Develop new methods to improve performance, ease of installation, diagnostics, quality, and cycle time of complex systems

• Work onsite at our Elgin location.

Basic Requirements

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering

• 1 + years of Technical, Networking, and RF experience required.

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
