Join Collins Aerospace as an Co-op Project Engineer, and work with the Environmental & Airframe Control Systems (EACS) Supplier Design Equipment (SDE) Team. This role requires a strong foundation in classic Project Management, including action tracking, status reporting, task monitoring, risk management, and professional meeting conduct.
Success in this position relies on exceptional interpersonal skills, as you’ll collaborate with teammates to solve challenges, drive progress, and facilitate cross-functional teams. You will also independently manage project plans, track status updates, and oversee action items to ensure efficiency and alignment with organizational goals. Background in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run January-August 2025 (including the Spring semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity.
What You Will Do:
- Manage Supplier Request for Information (SRI) processes, ensuring timely responses and accurate data tracking.
- Facilitate professional meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment across teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, solving challenges and driving project progress.
- Maintain project plans, status updates, and action items, ensuring efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies, supporting quality assurance and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications You Must Have:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Electrical Engineering background.
- Fundamental knowledge of project management principles, ensuring smooth coordination of tasks and resources.
- Understanding of core engineering concepts, with the ability to apply technical knowledge in practical scenarios.
