Position: Experienced Parts Advisor

Are you passionate about automotive parts and ready to take your career to the next level? Jim Shorkey Kia Gainesville is looking for a knowledgeable and motivated Parts Advisor to become a key player in our fast-paced, customer-focused dealership.

As a Parts Advisor, you’ll be the go-to expert for parts inventory, organization, and customer service—ensuring our technicians and retail customers get exactly what they need, when they need it.

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with the Parts Manager to locate and order parts not in stock
• Handle special-order requests and ensure timely fulfillment
• Guide customers through the parts sales process—from inquiry to invoicing
• Use CDK scanner to process daily parts orders
• Pull and distribute parts for technicians and counter staff
• Maintain accurate inventory and organized stock
• Assist retail customers with parts lookup and recommendations

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid understanding of automotive parts and systems
• Prior experience in a dealership or service department of 2+
• Basic computer skills (training provided)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR, and pass a drug test
