Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and technically proficient Technical Lead / Senior Technical Lead for the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) phase of Smart City project. This role involves overseeing the operation, maintenance, and optimization of Edge-Level IoT Devices, Data Center Equipment, Servers, and Enterprise Management Systems in compliance with the Service Level Agreement (SLA) terms outlined in the Request for Proposal (RFP). The ideal candidate will have strong project coordination skills and technical expertise to ensure the continued smooth operation and performance of all systems throughout the O&M phase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Coordination and Oversight:
  • Coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of Edge IoT devices, Data Center Equipment, Servers, and Enterprise Management Systems.
  • Ensure all operational tasks and maintenance activities are carried out as per the terms of the Service Level Agreement (SLA) defined in the RFP.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the project during the O&M phase, ensuring smooth communication between internal teams, vendors, and clients.
  • Track, report, and resolve any issues or risks that could impact the performance of critical infrastructure or the timely execution of maintenance activities.
  • Oversee the scheduling and coordination of regular maintenance tasks, software updates, hardware upgrades, and system optimizations to minimize downtime.
• Technical Management and Monitoring:
  • Monitor and maintain the performance, health, and security of Edge IoT Devices deployed across the Smart City, ensuring they function optimally throughout the O&M phase.
  • Ensure that Data Center Equipment (servers, storage systems, networking hardware) and Enterprise Management Systems are continuously operating in line with SLA performance metrics.
  • Manage real-time monitoring and diagnostics tools for IoT devices, servers, and network infrastructure, responding to alarms and incidents.
  • Troubleshoot and address operational issues, system failures, or service interruptions in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with the technical teams to ensure regular system maintenance, such as firmware upgrades, patches, and hardware replacements, in line with O&M requirements.
• Service Level Agreement (SLA) Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to the SLA terms for uptime, maintenance schedules, and performance metrics for all deployed systems.
  • Continuously monitor and measure system performance against SLA metrics, preparing reports to highlight key performance indicators (KPIs) for management and stakeholders.
