Job Description Summary

Facilitators learn how to set up and execute programs with the goal of helping participants learn more about what it is to be on a team and have fun while doing it. Miami’s programs are designed to fit our communities needs, and to lead them requires hard work, strong social skills, and an attention to detail. Work is both inside and more often out, and allows staff to develop group facilitation/management skills in an unmatched way.

Job Description

Essential Duties

  • Assist in planning program activities and course/program set up

  • Assist with post program wrap up (paperwork, equipment storage, etc.)

  • Adapt to the customers/programs needs as necessary maintaining safety and group goals

Minimum Qualifications

  • First-Aid/CPR certification for the Professional Rescuer or obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Ability to lift 40lbs and to be on feet for 4 hours in outdoor settings
