Technical Operations Engineer

Two Six Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Technical Operations Engineer to serve as the primary technical support for our government customers and the military community.  This role requires a combination of technical expertise and customer interaction to ensure the successful deployment and operation of our developed warfighting solutions. 

This is an opportunity to work with a team of talented and motivated engineers and to make critical contributions to projects that impact our nation and our nation’s warfighters.

The work requires that the selected candidate hold an Active Top Secret Clearance.  In addition, the selected candidate will be required to be local to the DC Metro area and be willing to work up to 4 days/week in U.S Government cleared facilities and our Arlington, VA office.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize SQL to develop custom data visualizations to support mission requirements.
• Receive, analyze, preprocess, and ingest data into the product data model leveraging Python
• Deploy, configure, and administer product servers on unclassified and classified networks in support of the customer
• Provide customer support through the performance of on-site installation, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of systems.
• Provide tactical level application and deployment support to U.S. Government agencies and Military community utilizing cyber tools (e.g. Splunk, Security Onion, Elastic, Carbonblack, etc.).
• Participate in the establishment, measurement, and achievement of customer satisfaction metrics
• Support project management function from client engagements to include identification, scheduling, tracking, and reporting
• Understand and communicate client feature requests to project engineering teams and project support personnel
• Brief and demonstrate company projects to a variety of customers (government and non-government agencies)
• Train and familiarize operators on equipment and systems developed by Two Six Technologies

Requirements:

• 3+ years of SQL for data processing and visualization
• Experience with deploying, managing, troubleshooting servers on secure networks.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity tools and practices, specifically in a government or military context.
• Experience working in Cyber Mission Force (CMF) community; Cybersecurity domain experience and knowledge
• Demonstrated success in problem-solving skills and the ability to perform diagnostics and repairs on complex systems. 
• Strong communication and customer service skills to effectively liaise with clients.
• Proven project management skills, including organizing and tracking project milestones.
• Ability and willingness to travel greater than 15%
• Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph.
• LINUX experience

Nice to Have:

• Experience with scripting using Python, or similar dynamic languages.
• Familiarity with Cyber Mission Force tools such as Splunk, Security Onion, GRR, Elastic, Carbonblack, etc.).
• Experience with DevOps and/or Agile; Atlassian collaboration tools
• Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Docker
• DoDD 8140 (former 8570) IAM/IAT level II or higher certification
