Maintenance Engineer - Morada Bay Restaurant Complex

Join Our Team: Morada Bay restaurants include The Beach Cafe and Pierre's fine dining. Morada Bay is part of Cheeca Lodge & Spa in Islamorada, FL. We are looking for an all-around maintenance tech - must understand how to work on kitchen equipment as well as be able to paint, diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, etc. This full-time role is vital for maintaining our high standards and ensuring guest satisfaction through efficient maintenance and responsive service.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Address guest maintenance requests effectively, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
• Perform daily checks and preventative maintenance on a variety of tools and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues in areas such as plumbing and electrical systems.
• Report to the Chief Engineer, collaborating to maintain the resort's operational standards.
• Work alongside a dedicated team in a dynamic environment.

Requirements:

• Must have your own basic hand-tools.
• Proven experience in maintenance, ideally in the hospitality sector.
• Ability to manage various maintenance tasks, with a focus on quality and guest service.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• A commitment to safety and attention to detail.
