You will:

• Conduct internal controls testing in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements with supervision
• Participate in audit projects as directed
• Perform special projects and participate in subject matter specialist teams
• Apply audit skills to new business areas under supervision
• Support the team on moderate to high complexity assignments
• Participate in required training
• Manage time, responsibilities, and priorities effectively with emphasis on contribution

 

Your team will: 

Work on projects needed to make the Company better. We work on items requested by the Board Audit Committee or Company Management. These projects range from required compliance procedures to unique opportunities related to changes in the business. The work ranges from small, one day tasks to larger comprehensive engagements.

 

About you: 

• Progress toward a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or information technology with some accounting and auditing
• Basic understanding and ability to use Microsoft and Google products (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Sheets) and aptitude to understand and use technology
• Ability to quickly understand direction and perform related tasks
• Ability to write and communicate clearly and appropriately
• Self-motivated and positive attitude
• Effective and contributing team member who establishes cooperative and positive working relationships
• Demonstrates proficiency in basic audit skills

 

Preferred Skills:

• Intent to complete certification by the International Institute of Internal Auditors (Certified Internal Auditor, CIA)
• Information Technology experience
• Intent to sit for the CPA exam once qualified
• Intent to become CISA Certified
• Progress toward other certification commensurate with duties
