The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
This Strategic Finance Senior Analyst position will support the Vice President, Strategic Finance & Portfolio Management in efforts related to strategic finance, including, but not limited to, long-range planning, valuation modeling and scenario planning, financial assessment of inorganic opportunities including M&A, and other portfolio management efforts.
As a Strategic Finance Senior Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by:
- Provide finance and model support for various portfolio management initiatives, including M&A
- Key facilitator of the strategic planning process, including tracking progress versus timelines and key milestones / deliverables; own roll-up of consolidated strategic plan
- Develop corporate finance models and executive summaries / dashboards, along with other process initiatives as we continue to standup our capabilities post-spin
- Aggregate, develop, and maintain database of market intel, including peer benchmarking data
- Finance business partner to Strategy organization
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND seven (7) years' experience in corporate finance, investment banking, advisory, and/or investor relations experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- A Master’s degree in finance or business from an accredited institution
- CMA, CPA, or CFA certification
- A background in investment banking or advisory or consulting services, including big 4
- Prior FP&A and M&A experience
- Strong command of financial modeling; ability to build clean, dynamic excel models and present outcomes in an executive summary format
- Ability to “think outside the box” and embraced continuous change
- Outstanding integrity, initiative, creativity, and passion
Work location: Remote - United States
Travel: May include up to 15% domestic/international
