This is a hybrid role, based in our New York office or remotely within the US, depending on team and business needs.

Job Overview

starpower is looking for a dynamic leader and passionate soccer enthusiast to lead the development and execution of 2026 FIFA World Cup partnerships. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in the soccer and brand partnerships space (such as with FIFA or MLS) and a proven ability to concept and manage large-scale brand x sports activations.

What you’ll do:

• Lead brand strategy, talent integration, and partnership development efforts for clients seeking to activate around global soccer, leagues, teams and tournaments 

• Develop and pitch big ideas that tie brands to soccer in culturally relevant ways, from sponsorship platforms to social campaigns to cobranded partnerships.

• Translate cultural insights and fan behavior into compelling strategies that drive real business outcomes for clients.

• Monitor and share trends, innovations, and brand best practices across the global soccer and sports marketing ecosystem.

• Serve as a senior point of contact for clients, providing expert-level guidance on soccer-specific marketing strategy and execution.

• Oversee the day-to-day execution of soccer-related campaigns and partnerships, collaborating across agency teams and ensuring seamless delivery and project alignment across all stakeholders.

What you should have:

• 8-10+ years of experience in soccer, brand pa
