IT Business Operations is seeking a Senior IT Metrics and Reporting Analyst experienced in aligning IT operations, IT governance, IT risk management, IT finance, IT Vendor management and IT strategic sourcing. This Senior IT Metrics and Reporting Analyst will be responsible for identifying and defining key IT metrics that align with our organizational goals and develop and implement long-term plans and models for measuring and reporting these metrics to drive data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. Additionally, the role will integrate governance, risk management, and finance into the IT metrics and reporting process.You will also assist in facilitating the identification of team mission statements, core functions, desired outcomes, and success measures that align with the strategic direction of the CIO to ensure that organization delivers outcomes that are aligned to the mission and strategy. Oversee the completion of assessments and review of metrics to drive continuous improvement in IT service and product delivery. Oversee the development and maintenance of performance management frameworks and metrics — to ensure the IT organization delivers value to the enterprise and can demonstrate that value.
This position is ONSITE ONLY (4 days in office with 1 remote day) and you must be located in or a commutable distance from Phoenix, AZ.
- Identify and Define IT Metrics: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and define strategic IT metrics that align with business objectives and performance goals.
- Develop Measurement Models: Create robust models and frameworks for measuring and tracking IT metrics over time.
- Reporting and Analysis: Design and implement reporting mechanisms to provide clear and actionable insights to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Data Management: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data used for metrics and reporting.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine metrics and reporting processes to enhance their effectiveness and relevance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with IT, finance, and business teams to ensure alignment and integration of metrics with overall business strategies.
- Technology Integration: Leverage advanced analytics tools and technologies to automate and streamline the measurement and reporting processes.
- Lead large complex projects with the expectation of ensuring the business outcomes are achieved. Work to gain a full understanding of how your work connects to the defined project objectives in addition to helping define the work breakdown structure for any activities. Set & meet deadlines for that work, lead discussions with stakeholders and the subject matter experts to gather requirements and review artifacts while working to resolve any issues that impede progress.
- Use deep understanding of Microsoft Office tools, Diagramming Software (e.g. Lucid, Visio, etc.), and/or other appropriate technical tools within a specific domain or functional area on the processes, data analysis, and IT governance.
What you'll need:
- 7+ years of experience in IT metrics, data analysis, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in related field required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure and operations.
- Experience with statistical analysis and predictive modeling is a plus.
- Proven track record of establishing a proactive, constructive dialogue and partnering with professionals internally and externally. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal staff and external customers.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary internal and external customer service.
- Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and flexibility.
- Foster teamwork through a positive attitude and approach.
- Intermediate knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking is preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Advanced in process and data analysis within a specific domain or functional area utilizing demonstrated critical thinking skills.
