Hotelschool The Hague is looking for a:</p><p><strong>                     Lecturer in Human Resource Management (0.8-1 FTE)</strong></p><p><em>“Inspiring students to become excellent managers in the international hospitality business.”</em></p><p><strong>General function description</strong></p><ul><li><p>You will teach, coach and assess both Dutch and international students in Human Resource Management</p></li><li><p>Areas of focus within Human Resource Management are ranging from fundamentals, to the human side of Change Management, to modeling Human Resource situations to advising on Human Resource Science within business projects and the innovations in Human Resource Management for the sector</p></li><li><p>You will be improving courses that are closely linked to real-world (hospitality)management practices</p></li><li><p>You are a professional and motivating lecturer and coach who can encourage young adults to achieve excellence</p></li><li><p>You are flexible and an active team player willing to cooperate and contribute towards the university’s success</p></li><li><p>You feel at home in an English-speaking dynamic and international academic environment</p></li></ul><p><strong>Candidate profile</strong></p><p>You have/are:</p><ul><li><p>a Master’s degree</p></li><li><p>a minimum of 6 years work experience in human resource management within an international environment</p></li><li><p>several years of teaching experience or proven affinity with teaching</p></li><li><p>analytical and conceptual skills</p></li><li><p>an excellent command of the English language (C1-level)</p></li><li><p>good social and communication skills</p></li><li><p>an ability to work independently with a proactive attitude towards problem solving</p></li><li><p>insight into and knowledge of current developments in management is a plus as is<br/>management experience as well as knowledge of the hospitality industry</p></li><li><p>an enthusiastic approach to education with an emphasis on coaching students to deal with real-world professional assignments</p></li></ul><p><strong>Remuneration</strong></p><p>Hotelschool The Hague offers a salary based on scale 11 the labour agreement of Universities of Applied Science (CAO HBO) with a range between€ 4,535.76 and € 6,359.47 per month, depending on your professional experience and qualifications.</p><p>In addition, Hotelschool The Hague offers:</p><ul><li><p>A 13th month;</p></li><li><p>An excellent package of fringe benefits;</p></li><li><p>Employees with a 40-hour working week are entitled to 428 hours (53 days) of leave annually with retention of salary;</p></li><li><p>Excellent opportunities for further personal development;</p></li><li><p>Compensation towards your health insurance expenses;</p></li><li><p>Option to make use of group discounts for multiple insurances;</p></li><li><p>Travel allowances for commuting to and from work;</p></li><li><p>A pension plan through ABP;</p></li><li><p>Most importantly you would work for an organisation that strives to have a positive impact on society, helping to develop future leaders in the hospitality industry.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Additional information</strong></p><p>Hotelschool The Hague works with a 40-hour workweek.
