Join the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) DATA team as a Senior Business<br/>Development Specialist!<br/><br/>Key job responsibilities<br/>As a BD Specialist, you will be responsible for growing adoption, utilization, and revenue for AWS<br/>services in a sales region. You will gather customer and industry needs and partner with AWS product<br/>teams to innovate, develop, and deliver AWS solutions. BD Specialists are technically savvy resources<br/>responsible for identifying opportunities to innovate with customers, influencing the AWS product<br/>roadmap, and driving revenue for your AWS service(s). <br/><br/>As a BD Specialist, you will be the direct business<br/>owner for geo-segments, or areas, and deliver exceptional customer outcomes. You will develop and<br/>influence GTM strategies and sales plays for new or existing services, and drive customer and partner<br/>engagements by participating in AWS field enablement activities. You will also identify gaps in AWS<br/>products or feature sets based on customer insights and partner with internal product teams and<br/>account managers to win strategic customer workloads and drive business revenue.<br/><br/>A day in the life<br/>Inclusive Team Culture<br/>Here at AWS, we embrace our differences. WWSO teams include business development, specialist sales, and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO, you’ll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. We pride ourselves on thinking big, delivering exceptional results for our customers, and working across AWS as #OneTeam.<br/><br/>Location: This position can be based around Warsaw, WAW; Bucharest, ROB or Munich, MUC.<br/><h3>Basic Qualifications</h3><br/>• Data and analytics industry experience with technical business development, sales, strategic partnerships, and program/product management<br/>• Experience influencing and negotiating with customers, up to the c-suite or VP level<br/>• Experience in describing and selling technical cloud services or software technology products<br/><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3>• College/university degree <br/>• AWS Cloud Practitioner certification <br/>• In-depth understanding of cloud technologies, software development, and solutions architecture<br/>• Ability to work autonomously with medium oversight or direction from leadership<br/>• Excellent business judgement and the demonstrated ability to think and act both strategically and tactically<br/><br/><br/>Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
