The Eurasia Patriot finance group within the Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) SBU, has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Manager (M5) to lead the German Patriot Portfolio that consists of $2.4B of existing backlog as well as supporting the follow-on capture for an additional ~$2B (expected $4B portfolio by 2026 all DCS). This contract will be an integral part of the overall LADs portfolio. The candidate will work closely with the area program manager.  This managerial position includes leading and executing program controls, baseline development, Estimate at Complete (EACs), Gate 4’s, and financial planning requirements including AOP, Long Range Plan. 

This role is being offered in an onsite capacity and is based on the needs of the business. Onsite work is expected in Tewksbury, MA. Relocation assistance is not being offered. 

What You Will Do:

• Domestic and international travel expected annually (1-2 trips per year)

• Lead a team of three direct reports through coordination and execution program start up activities, ad hoc proposal support, monthly forecasting, Annual Operating Plans, Long Range Plans

• Must be comfortable working closely with senior and executive level leadership

• Solve complex problems quickly & effectively, excellent communication & presentation skills, and can mentor/lead earlier career finance analysts

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related field & 10 years of related work experience; OR an Advanced degree and 7 years of related work experience

• Experience with data analysis and reporting

• Experience with MS Office products (Excel, Word and/or PowerPoint)

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience in communicating financial concepts, trends and variances to organization

• Shows initiative by seeking ways to improve processes and data analysis

• Works under general direction and participates in choosing objectives of assignment

• Excellent communication skills (written and oral), with ability to work with and communicate seamlessly with manager(s) and program personnel across various locations and time zones

• Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis

• Experience with application of finance principles, concepts, practices, and standards

• Experience with SAP, APEX, PRISM, AO and/or Rplan

• Earned Value Management

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
