As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in helping to deter security-related incidents within a financial institution environment. Your primary responsibilities include conducting regular patrols throughout the assigned location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential threats, and responding to security-related situations as needed. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry a firearm and demonstrate sound judgment and professionalism at all times. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of Allied Universal—agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity. Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a financial institution environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and experience to address situations as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain compliance with location protocols.
• Maintain detailed records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site policies and Allied Universal procedures.
• Interact with employees, visitors, and/or clients in a professional manner, providing assistance and information as needed.
• Carry a firearm in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal policies, maintaining readiness to respond to security-related situations as required.
• Participate in ongoing training and meetings to stay current with security-related procedures and protocols specific to financial institutions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, or 2 years of experience as a security supervisor or manager, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
