Job Description

At PMX, we are growing at a rapid pace, looking to add a Senior Staff Accountant to our Finance team.  The ideal candidate should have the ability to work independently and realize they will be a key component of small and cohesive team. This position requires a highly motivated, entrepreneurial person to act as a key business partner responsible for the following:

Role Objectives:

  • Assist Associate Director with monthly close management under tight deadlines, including preparation of complex journal entries and financial statements review and variance analysis.
  • Generate recurring and ad hoc financial reporting needs for leadership and Groupe.
  • Prepare monthly documentation to support the internal control environment.

Day to Day:

  • Partner with many Publicis Media Agency teams regarding intercompany reporting to ensure proper elimination of intercompany transactions.
  • Prepare complex intercompany allocations and other journal entries.
  • Support the Associate Director with internal and external audit preparation.
  • Review and approve journal entries, purchase orders, jobs, new vendor creation, and billing.
  • Manage relationships with both internal and shared service teams (AP, Treasury, ERP, Tax, etc.) to facilitate efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Acts as the subject matter expert for SAP to support inquiries regarding time, expenses, and other ERP issues.
  • Collaborate with other finance team members for various projects and analyses.
  • Drive continuous process improvement and financial reporting precision.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or finance in addition to a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
  • 3+ years of experience in corporate accounting
  • Strong competency with complex ERP (SAP preferred) and other financial systems (HFM, Blackline, etc.)
  • Must possess strong quantitative and analytical skills combined with solid business and financial acumen
    • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
    • Experience managing audits
    • Initiative to automate processes

Additional Information

Compensation Range: $70,000 - $110,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
