Registered Nurse (RN)

Registered Nurse (RN) - Multiple Departments Available

Prometheus Federal Services (PFS), a trusted partner to federal health agencies, has an opening for multiple Registered Nurses. This position will perform administrative functions for the Office of Community Care and Referral Coordination Team. The work will be on-site at the Michale E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, TX.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Current staffing needs in the following Departments:
  • Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)
  • Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
  • Cardiac Care Unit (CCU)
  • Medical / Surgical (Med Surg)
  • Spinal Cord Injury Unit (SCI)
  • Emergency Department (ED / ER)
  • Step-Down Unit (SDU)
  • Community Living Center - Long Term Care (CLC - LTC)

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have one (1) year experience in the Department you are applying for
• Must have Associates or Bachelors in Nursing from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Active / Unrestricted State RN License
• BLS (AHA) Certification
• ACLS (AHA) Certification for SICU, MICU, CCU, ER, SDU Departments
• Must be able to read, understand, speak and write English fluently
• Must have basic typing and PC Computer skills
