As our People Operations Senior Associate EMEA you will be a critical to the foundational creation of our future People Operations Center. You will have the opportunity to work with a team which will be ramped up from scratch with the help of your extensive expertise in advising on crucial HR matters. As the central contact person, you will provide advice along the entire employee lifecycle thus giving guidance for all employees within a completely new organization and ensuring high operational excellence.

Core responsibilities:

  • be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal customers, providing accurate and efficient customer service and resolving HR transactions and administration, including complex issues, within agreed service levels.
  • Manage day-to-day HR operations for an allocated group of countries (initially France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland and Greece) for all operational requirements (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, payroll instructions, benefits, leave of absences such as sickness management etc.)
  • be the first point of contact for employees regarding operational excellence in your region and give support and advice throughout the entire employee lifecycle using our PeopleDoc ticketing system; adhering to SLAs and keeping key stakeholders updated on the status of tasks
  • coach managers and employees to use the applicable systems and tools where available
  • data entry and data maintenance in Workday or other business systems; championing data integrity
  • ensure appropriate internal procedures and controls are in line with best practice HR.
  • responsible for the document management processes, ensuring that all required documentation is scanned/filed accordingly to employee personnel records.
  • ensuring adherence to data protection requirements whilst managing sensitive employee data.
  • process and reconcile purchases and invoices within the HR function where required
  • work across our matrix organization, supporting the wider HR team as needed, in particular partnering with EMEA HRBPs supporting your countries to ensure collaboration and alignment
  • contribute to the development of our completely new HR Operations Center by advising on HR Operations and enabling relevant stakeholders.
  • be comfortable working through a period of change and transition as our business transforms and our People Operations function builds the foundations to support our employees and leaders

Qualifications

  • You have a university degree in HR, Business, or related HR experience
  • You have a hands-on mentality and the drive to create things from the ground up
  • You are an organizational talent and know how to manage the operational day-to-day business in a face-paced, ever-changing environment
  • You bring an analytical mindset and a problem-solving attitude to work
  • You have empathic understanding for the needs of employees and external partners
  • You have good communication and consulting skills and enjoy collaborating with different teams, countries, and departments
  • You are fluent in French, and ideally have some knowledge of Spanish or Italian languages, and have experience supporting other European countries
  • You have good experience of the legal framework and challenges in your primary location, and ideally other European locations – including some experience of works councils.
  • Ideally you will have experience using Workday as a system however this is not essential.
