  • Grade: L1-2

  • Hiring Manager: Eva Bric-Furlong

About the Job

At Sanofi we are committed in our quest to be a world-class biologics research organization and are steadfast in our goal to bring next generation, transformative therapies to patients. Our global Large Molecule Research (LMR) organization is focused on antibodies and NANOBODY® molecules as therapeutic modalities. Our platform enables and partners closely with other research platforms and Sanofi’s therapeutic areas (Immunology & Inflammation, Immuno-Oncology, Rare & Neurologic Diseases) in the discovery and ultimate delivery of new candidate molecules.

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Senior Associate Scientist to join our dynamic team in the Molecular, Expression and Screening Technologies (MEST) Group within Sanofi’s North America R&D LMR organization. The lab-based candidate will be responsible for the ultra-high-throughput expression of protein/antibody tools and therapeutic candidates designed by state-of-the-art digital AI/ML models and structural biology using cutting-edge automated systems. The candidate will work closely with other functional groups in MEST as well as LMR (Antibody Discovery, Protein Production and Protein Engineering) to discover new therapeutic antibodies. The focus of this position is on the day-to-day operation of high-throughput protein production systems including scheduling software, maintenance and troubleshooting of this system and its components. Experience with mammalian cell culturing, maintenance and expansion of cell lines as well as the transfection of mammalian cells using recombinant DNA are key. The demand for production of complex variants has significantly increased year on year, with additional increases expected.

Join the engine of Sanofi’s mission — where deep immunoscience meets bold, AI-powered research. In R&D, you’ll drive breakthroughs that could turn the impossible into possible for millions.
