We Are Hiring:  Behavioral Health Therapist - Partial Hospital Program Behavioral Health - .01 FTE (As needed)  

 

1SE is the inpatient mental health unit with 11 private beds, providing care to voluntary adult and geriatric psychiatric patients. Some involuntary patients may be admitted under court order for psychiatric evaluation and/or treatment. Many patients are medically complex in addition to their psychiatric disorder, and can be combative. 1SE has 25 staff members; 8 Nurses, 8 CNA’s, 5 UCC’s, as well as Psychiatrists, Therapists, and Social Workers.

 

 

Schedule Details: Ability to work day or part of evening shift to cover groups for Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Inpatient Behavioral Health (IBH). Typical hours are 0800-1630 for PHP and 0800-1930 for IBH. 

 

What You Will Do:

The Behavioral Health Therapist I is a Masters-level provider working toward WI state licensure and certification/specialty authorization to treat substance use disorders, who provides clinical behavioral health services and coordination of care to patients, families and referral sources engaged with ProHealth Care.  Services include those provided on the inpatient behavioral health unit, in the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), in the Intensive Outpatient or Opioid Dependence Programs, patients connected to providers within the Behavioral Health Services Outpatient Department, and patients engaged in services through the Assessment & Referral department as well as patients throughout the ProHealth Care system needing behavioral health services and service coordination.

 

What You Will Need:

• Master’s Degree in Psychology and Counseling
• Meets state of WI requirements for licensure/certification in accordance with their Master’s degree (CAPSW, LCSW for MSW; LPC-IT or LPC for MS, MA, all others).
  And meets state of WI requirements for certification as a substance use counselor (SAC-IT, SAC, or CSAC) Or ability to meet all requirements within 6 months of hire
• Completion of Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training within (6) months of hire
• Graduate internship/field placement/practicum in a behavioral health setting
