We are looking for Platform Engineers who want to make an impact by working on making our next-generation financial APIs and payments platforms ultra reliable.</p><p></p><p>You will be joining the <strong>Cloud Foundations team,</strong> we are the home of Mollie Cloud Platform, Mollies flavour of GCP. Our mission is simple, enabling product teams to create value. We get there by providing a secure, reliable and scalable Platform.<br/><br/><strong>What will you be doing</strong></p><ul><li><p>Collaborate closely with our stakeholders including Application engineers, security and risk officers and your peers to build wholesome platform experience.</p></li><li><p>Build a compliant, easy to use platform, preferably exposed as a set of self services.</p></li><li><p>Leverage cutting edge technologies and techniques to add new features to the Platform, and yes we have plenty of opportunities to do that :).</p></li><li><p>Engage with auditors to make sure that everyone is doing what they are supposed to do, keeping our Merchants and Clients money safe and sound. </p></li><li><p>We care for quality and well-designed user experiences—for engineers and non-engineers alike. This translates to well operated and monitored systems, designing and implementing for failure, knowledge about distributed systems and a passion for automation.</p></li><li><p>Strike a balance between shipping often and maintaining a high level of system  reliability and security. You will work with stakeholders to set and maintain SLO’s and SLA’s to meet our business and merchants requirements.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>To top it off, here are some roadmap items we are currently working on:</p><ul><li><p>Rebuilding access mgmt for the platform.</p></li><li><p>Adding a new network component to the platform.</p></li><li><p>Offering and automating user reviews.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>What you have</strong></p><ul><li><p>Minimum of 8 years experience as a senior engineer in infrastructure or platform area.</p></li><li><p>Experience with Google Cloud Platform is a must</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated expertise in HashiCorp Terraform and a deep understanding of infrastructure as code principles</p></li><li><p>Experience with designing, building and maintaining automations, systems and tools that keep downtime at a minimum</p></li><li><p>Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm</p></li><li><p>Experience dealing with large-scale applications in complex environments</p></li><li><p>Experience with high-level programming languages like Go/Python/PHP</p></li><li><p>Know your way around Linux systems and the shell</p><p></p><p><em><strong>Please apply with your CV in English</strong></em></p><p><em><strong>Kindly note that relocation support is not offered for candidates outside of Europe for this role.</strong></em></p></li></ul>
