Who we are looking for

Purpose

Lead and manage enterprise-wide projects as a key member of the US Project Management Office (PMO).  Success in this role requires exceptional cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.  The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering project management excellence, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives to achieve company goals effectively.

Main Responsibilities

Project Planning and Initiation

  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Identify and document project dependencies, constraints, and assumptions.
  • Blend traditional project management principles and practices with an agile approach for strategic-level projects.

Project Execution and Monitoring

  • Lead project teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Monitor project progress using established metrics and report updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Identify risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and escalate as needed.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the project team, PMO, and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication across departments and ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Manage expectations and obtain approvals for changes in scope, timelines, or budgets.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and communicate project updates, milestones, and risks to relevant stakeholders.

Governance and Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with PMO standards, methodologies, and tools.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed project status reports, including KPIs and financial updates.
  • Conduct post-project retrospectives and document lessons learned.

PMO Strategy

  • Contribute to PMO process improvements and the development of standard operating procedures.
