Associate Manager Cloud Architecture

Job Description:

Essential Job Functions:
• Assist in the development and implementation of cloud architecture strategies and projects.
• Support the cloud architecture team in technical tasks, providing guidance and troubleshooting assistance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of cloud solutions with business needs.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with cloud security and compliance standards.
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and contribute to recommendations for adoption.
• Document and communicate best practices and technical guidelines within the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in cloud infrastructure.
• Provide regular status updates on the progress of cloud architecture projects.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 6+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role years of experience in cloud architecture or related roles, including some technical experience
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong problem-solving and team lead skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Prior experience working with cross-functional teams on cloud projects
• Successful involvement in cloud solution implementation projects
• Continuous learner that stays abreast with industry and technology


Other Qualifications:
• Advanced degree in a relevant field a plus
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) or advanced training a plus
