Senior Finance Analyst

Company Description

We are seeking a proactive, dedicated and detail oriented Senior Finance Analyst, to join our Finance community.  This role will be based in San Marino and will manage one Analyst while working very closely with the team in the UK.

A successful candidate will ideally have experience in working as part of a finance team where they manage the San Marino accounts.  This would be a wonderful opportunity for someone to take a step up in their career.

Job Description

The duties of this role will include, but are not limited to:

• Manage the end-to-end transaction processing function, including supplier payments and customer invoicing 
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with applicable San Maarino accounting standards
• Manage the year end statutory audit
• Supervise a Finance Analyst 
• Oversee core finance processes, such as accounts payable, bank reconciliation, and support the month-end close and production of management accounts
• Review and approve monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany

Qualifications

We’re looking for:

• Strong proficiency in English written and language skills
• Ideally qualified (or working towards) a recognised accounting qualification e.g. ACCA or CIMA
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency with accounts payable processes and systems
• Pro-active with good organisation skills and the ability to prioritise
• The ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external contacts at all levels
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting practices
• Hands on attitude
