The Human Resources Generalist will play a critical role in supporting the HR department in various functions, including employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded understanding of HR practices and be capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Employee Relations: Serve as main point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries and concerns.
• Employee Relations: Assist in resolving employee issues, conflicts, and disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies.
• Employee Relations: Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
• Performance Management: Assist in the implementation and administration of performance review processes.
• Benefits Administration: Coordinate open enrollment and assist employees with benefits-related questions and changes as well liaise with benefits providers to resolve issues and ensure compliance.
• Compliance: Ensure the company’s compliance with EU, BE and local employment laws and regulations.
• Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases
• VISA management: Manage end to end the VISA submission process for the upcoming employees and ensure the compliance of the documents that are submitted.
• Trainings: Develops and implement training programs for employees; assist in the coordination of training sessions and seminars.
• HR Projects and Initiatives: Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures and contribute to HR-related projects and initiatives aimed at improving organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Around 4-6 years of experience in a human resources generalist role.
• Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and local Belgian employment and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• High capability to work under short deadlines and on multiple projects in the same time
