Customer Service Representative
This position requires an active USAccess clearance or the ability to obtain a USAccess clearance to be considered.
Cherokee federal, is seeking a dedicated Customer Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, managing orders and inventory, and ensuring accurate billing and property management. If you have a background in hydrology, electronics, mechanics[BK1] , or related fields, and possess strong communication and organizational skills, we encourage you to apply.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Estimated Starting Salary Range for Customer Service Representative: Pay commensurate with experience.
- Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Customer Service Representative Responsibilities Include:
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, returns, repairs, and accounting information.
- Monitor back-orders and generate work orders.
- Update procurement information and pricing in the supply chain software system.
- Perform personal property and warehouse controlled property duties, ensuring local procedures and policies are followed.
- Complete and file appropriate property transfer requests.
- Ensure an annual inventory of personal controlled property and warehouse controlled property is performed.
- Verify system requirements are met, and proper accounting and reporting procedures are followed.
- Prepare and submit billings, track billings, and provide status reports as needed.
- Provide coverage for the Toll-Free phone line.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Customer Service Representative Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Relevant educational background in customer support or other related field preferred.
- Familiarity with supply chain software system for procurement and pricing updates.
- Knowledge of personal property and warehouse-controlled property procedures.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to generate and monitor work orders.
- Competency in updating procurement systems.
- Proficiency in performing inventory tasks and property management.
- Skills in proper accounting [BK2] and reporting procedures.
- Capability to communicate effectively.
- Capacity to clearly identify as a contractor employee when required.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
