Azure Data Engineer

NN Insurance Hungary is looking for a talented professional to join NN Hungary’s team as an Azure Data Engineer. In this position you will be working on large scale Azure based data solutions to implement framework of- and solutions upon NN Data Analytics Platform (DAP) using data analytics, data integration and data management technical skills.

Responsibilities: 

• Understand concepts for Azure based Modern Data Warehouse solution fundamentals;
• Gather and maintain fundamental knowledge of NN Data Governance, NN DAP and NN ICDM standards, with being expertized in areas related to owned role(s) within Data Governance Organization model;
• Cooperate with other technology domains at NN to support Digital transformation through cross-domain delivery tasks;
• Continuously participate in integrating further elements of NN DAP framework;
• Support Data Governance processes;
• Participate in implementing minor DG solutions;
• Establish and Maintain Data Strategies and Tactics;
• Participate in knowledge sharing events to help change and adoption management tasks across all organizations.

What matters to us: 

• College/University degree preferably in Computer Science or Business Informatics Engineer;
• 3-5 years experience in similar positions;
• Fluent English;
• Expert-level knowledge of Azure Databricks, Phyton and SQL;
• Fundamental knowledge of related services as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Gen2.
