Union Warehouse Job Description:

Warehouse Associate

Summary: As a Warehouse Associate in our union facility, you will play a crucial role in efficiently managing the flow of parts within the warehouse. Your responsibilities include receiving incoming parts, stocking shelves, and shipping out orders to dealership customers. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Parts Manager, counter personnel, and drivers to ensure a smooth and organized operation. The role requires adherence to warehouse practices and policies to meet set objectives.

Essential Duties

Assist with the annual physical inventory and maintain a perpetual inventory bin-maintenance system.

Receive, stock, and post incoming orders promptly.

Participate in annual parts inventory preparation and execution.

Contribute to monthly parts returns.

Maintain a professional appearance in the parts department.

Collaborate in stocking and posting orders to expedite delivery to technicians and wholesale accounts.

Ensure proper stocking of areas within the parts department.

Maintain cleanliness by disposing of used boxes and trash, sweeping floors, and daily dusting of parts bins.

Assist in crating and accounting for core shipments back to the manufacturer for replaced parts.

Uphold a professional appearance and keep the parts area clean and uncluttered.

Establish and maintain a system for receiving and storing warranty parts for future shipping or scrap.

Ship warranty parts on a weekly basis.
