Warehouse Detective 1st Shift- TIR

Job Summary

This individual troubleshoots inventory issues daily using a standard work check-list.

Job Description

We are hiring for 1st shift paying $18.50-$22.50

Key Accountabilities:

• Review PGI (Post Goods Issue), LX03 (Bin Status Report) and LL01 (Warehouse Activities Monitor) for open issues with daily shift meetings to ensure all material handlers and machine operators are moving material correctly.
• Checklist used to determine corrective actions and training as necessary.
• Authorized to make inventory adjustments of less than 50 lbs.
• This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Warehouse experience that includes forklift, packing, measuring, and inventory.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Interpersonal skills to communicate with plant manager, sales staff, and warehouse personnel.
• Ability to understand equipment and tolerances. 
• Safety Mindset

Preferred Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2-3 years previous supervisory experience in a related field.
• Knowledge of metals handled in regard to proper staging, processing, packaging, and shipping
• First aid and CPR training; exposure to safety programs, ISO standards, and Lean practices
• Familiarity with sales functions
• This individual must also possess good leadership qualities and the ability to build an effective team as well as be an effective team member.
