1st Shift - Further Processing – Production Lead

Shift Time:  6:00 am - 5:00 pm or 6:30 am - 5:30 pm

Pay Rate: $ 17 per hour.

Summary  Oversees a production department by performing the following duties.                                                    

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Makes sure production employees are present and performing their job.

 

Sets up the department before production begins.

 

Acts as an intercessor between employees and management.

 

Fills in for production employees due to absences, vacations, production needs, etc.

 

Notifies maintenance if there are any problems on the line.

 

Makes sure employees have the needed supplies.

 

Checks the quality of the product.

 

This is a safety sensitive position.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities                                                    

 

Directly supervises 10 to 70 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
